A gem by Borasjön and Ramundeboda monastery ruins!

At our place, you are greeted by the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and classic pastries according to the season. During the summer months, we serve hearty, well-filled salads, waffles, and ice cream. All of this in a location surrounded by history and fantastic views of Borasjön.

Take a look at our courtyard shelf filled with Swedish artisanal food. Here you'll find everything from beverages, pasta, jams, sauces, and much more. Choose from ready-made gift bags or create your own combination.

Pay a visit to the Ramundeboda monastery ruins located in the area and feel the wings of history fluttering around you.

Take the opportunity to explore more of the area by hiking to Öudden. The hike is 6 km long and will lead you through beautiful scenery on well-maintained trails and boardwalks with views of the lake. If you're interested in hiking, both the Bergslagsleden and Munkastigen trails are nearby, directly adjacent to Sockenstugan.

There's a lovely bathing spot about 200 meters from Sockenstugan, so remember to bring your swimwear and towel.

For those traveling with a mobile home, we have three pitches that can be booked via ACAMP.

These pitches include toilet and shower facilities as well as the opportunity for fresh water refills. You can conveniently book your spot in advance or on-site.
